Truly Awesome

TB (That Beagle) next door is showing its true colours. I retract entirely what I said about its being a nice enough sort of dog though a bit stupid. It is Truly Awesome.

Never, ever in the course of a long and eminently successful life have I seen one medium sized beagle make so much mess in such a short space of time. It has excavated at least a dozen holes in the garden. Scratched up much of what was left of the lawn. Utterly destroyed the charming arrangement of potted plants round the old tree stump - and most of the plastic pots. Chewed one of the bushes to shreds. Torn down the washing and fought a long battle with the sheets.

I am silent and stilled in sheer admiration.
