OOOPS!

TB became ever more interested in The Tree and Most Unfortunately finally felt compelled to add to the water in the natty little pot at the bottom. Actually it mostly missed the pot but as it is a geriatric beagle there wasn't too much liquid. 'Splash and a dash' comes to mind as He saw what was going on and hurled TB into the garden. (No doubt we will be kept awake by howling tonight as TB goes off on a wander. Always does when it is in trouble.)

Myself thought it was only right to help sort out the presents that had been dampened and needed re-wrapping. (One for the 2nd time.) Also found the one that had been trodden on by TB a couple of days ago.

Don't think Myself will be drinking from the pot under The Tree again.

(She hasn't yet realised what happened and cannot work out the reason for the trail of small damp spots leading from the back door through the kitchen to the living room.)
